We’re thrilled to announce that we bred our Velvet daughter (Finn granddaughter) to V Digger v Edelweiss IPO2 KKl. Digger is the “clearest minded shepherd” and his owner can take him from the bite field to her baby in a matter of seconds. He is a family dog with a lot of kids, alongside being a high-performance international competitor. Digger produces likewise smart and clear-minded dogs who compete for top placements in show. One of his sons just won #2 German Shepherd in the world at 2022 BSZS held in September; an incredible accomplishment for a dog to achieve against the world’s toughest competition, and a weighty testament to Digger’s ability to produce the best puppies. Digger has gorgeous expression with his sweet almond eyes, his coat is rich red and black, his skin is darkly pigmented, his head is broad, and his anatomy is absolutely correct for optimized utility. He consistently produces likewise to all the above, with the addition of even broader/masculine heads than his own. This will be Drea’s first litter and we expect beautiful pups with fantastic temperament. We searched far and long for a stud like Digger to be absolutely complementary to Drea, to produce excellence in every category of the total German Shepherd. These pups’ pedigree will include the following famous dogs from Digger’s line: VA Enosch, VA Fulz, V Wulkana, VA Goran, VA Memphis, VA Risco, VA Wallaby, and more. Via this breeding, Digger’s heritage is brought together with Finn and Velvet and other greats known for producing top dogs from Drea’s line: VA Henko, VA Saabat, VA Dux, and more!

We’re thrilled to announce that our Finn daughter, Velvet Vom Hazak RATI, will be bred once more to the recently imported and gorgeous V Prince Vom Altenberger Land IGP2 Kkl! Velvet has an excellent track record when it comes to consistently producing top quality shepherds, and Prince is our perfect match for her in every regard. Her litter with him summer of 2021 produced outstanding results across the board: their pups had strong and smooth movement, uniformity in conformation, broad heads, rich red and black coloring, some dark black masks like Prince, and phenomenally well-balanced temperaments. Prince and Velvet’s puppies had very notably happy and personable personalities with a strong desire to please, which makes for delightful companionship. We are duplicating this breeding for what we expect to be Velvet’s last litter prior to retirement for the purpose of keeping a female for ourselves. We certainly wouldn’t mind filling our program with Velvet pups, or Prince pups, and the combination of the two is perfection. Prince is the combination of two world-class pedigrees and is the son of 2xVA5 BSZS Henko vom Holtkämper Hof IPO3 and maternal grandson of V1, SG8 (BSZS JHKL 2009) Canyon von der Lars-Aue Sch3 Kkl1! V Prince Vom Altenberger Land IGP2 Kkl was just recently imported to the US this year, and wow–everything about him is magnificent! As beautiful as he appears in photos and videos, they still do not do him justice. He is overall very well put together with thick bone, seemingly perfect anatomy, smooth movement, a plush show coat, red red coloring, a black mask, sweet almond eyes, and the rarely massive and masculine head that could even be compared to our Finn’s (Velvet’s Dad). Prince’s hips and elbows are a/a normal, and he is DM N/N clear.

This breeding will produce both black pups (colored like West), and Red & Black Pups (colored like Finn). West and Finn had their first litter together in 2021 and we plan to duplicate their breeding based on those outstanding results. We kept our own West/Finn female from their first litter, Onyx, and she continues to amaze us with her phenomenal temperament and beauty. West and Finn produce strong larger pups with massively masculine heads, thick bone, excellent conformation, and overall enjoyable personalities. Like Mom and Dad, West and Finn’s pups were very well-balanced and combined bold courage with sweetly biddable natures, strong loyalty, and high intelligence. They will have the potential to excel in a variety of competitive venues or simply as delightful family pets and companions.
